Lee has developed and applied a series of innovative methods and models for studying the dynamics of human populations and their relationship with economic and environmental processes. He has pioneered the use of time series models in studies of American mortality and fertility and developed the methods used in a massive reconstruction of the British population.
 Research Interests
My research focuses on demography and population studies, particularly from an economic point of view, economic demography, historical demography, and mathematical demography.
