Name Clegg, M. T.
Location University of California, Irvine
Primary Field Evolutionary Biology
Secondary Field Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences
 Election Citation
Clegg is the leading student of the evolution of complex genetic systems. He is recognized internationally for his contributions to understanding the genetic and ecological basis for adaptive evolutionary changes within populations and at higher taxonomic levels.
