Mizuuchi has probably made more contributions to understanding DNA rearrangements than anyone else. His work is startlingly novel and yet has great breadth and depth. He has made major advances in determining the molecular mechanism of DNA gyrase, lambda integrative recombination, Holliday structure resolution, phage mu transposition and retroviral integration. |
